Last evening 3 new members were inducted into the National Honor Society, Nolan Easton, Jackson Prato, and Lily Wood. A dinner was held for them at Traditions Restaurant.

Applications are due by March 31, 2024.

Congratulations to Georgia Short, Laila Martin, and Gage Bittinger, who were selected as winners for the Salisbury American Legion Essay. The winners were honored at a banquet held on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 at the Salisbury American Legion. Their essays will move on to the next level.

Our 5th graders were able to tour the Somerset County Technology Center yesterday.

Congratulations to Lily Wood for being honored by the Soroptimist of Somerset County for her volunteer activities!

The Salisbury FBLA sponsors an annual donation campaign. The non profit organization that we have chosen this year is the Make-A-Wish Kids foundation. All donations received from this campaign will go to the Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia division of Make-A-Wish Kids. Make-A-Wish-Kids is a non-profit organization that grants life changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. The Make-A-Wish Organization was founded in 1980 in Phoenix, Arizona. Make-A-Wish has granted over 550,000 wishes across 50 countries and six continents. In the United States there are 59 chapters and over 35,000 volunteers. There are collection containers in both the elementary and high school offices from March 11 to the 22. Also, the elementary classroom that raises the most donations will earn a prize. The FBLA thanks everyone that can help for their support!
