Annika Shunk is the daughter of Autumn and Marc Shunk. Annika is President of her Senior Class, as well as President of the Home Economics and Band Clubs. She is Vice President of the Drama Club, and is also involved in FFA and National Honors Society. Annika is also a member of the cheerleading squad. Outside of school, Annika enjoys hanging out with her friends, kayaking, and spending time with her cats. Annika has volunteered to be a community service aide with the kindergarten for multiple years and has thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the teachers and children. She has plans to attend Frostburg State University to become a Secondary History Teacher.
Maggie Vaughn is a senior at Salisbury-Elk Lick School District, where she has been a student her whole life. She has been a member of COSA and band all throughout high school, and has also been involved in drama club and chorus. She is a two time district winner of the Voice of Democracy essay contest through the local VFW. Maggie is also heavily involved in her youth group at Oak Dale Church, and the various community service projects held through the church. Maggie has been working as a barista at Dawdy Haus Coffee for the past three years, and has recently taken over the baking there. Maggie’s plans for the future are to attend Rosedale Bible College this fall to earn an associate’s degree in Biblical studies, and to attend a secondary college or university to work towards a degree in psychology.
